Finally, a cooking show that’s not only devoted to Korean food but also its culture, heritage and people. Check out this preview of “The Kimchi Chronicles,” which will air on PBS in 2011 (so keep checking your local listings). The host is Marja Vongerichten, who is half-Korean and the wife of famed chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. The show will explore Korean cuisine in a variety of ways – from visiting markets to homes to different parts of the peninsula. I can’t wait!
