Word on the street is that there’s going to be a new show starring Asians on Nickelodeon, home to such family-friendly shows like iCarly and Spongebob Squarepants.
The show, Supah Ninja, will be about high school students who are also ninjas, and is the only show on television right now featuring an entire Asian family. It stars Ryan Potter as Mike, the high-school student who discovers he’s a ninja, through his grandfather, who is played by George Takei. There’s also a familiar face on the show, our wonderful columnist Randall Park, who plays Martin, Mike’s father!
