One Day’s Wages, a grassroots movement, is hosting its first ever benefit party in the greater Los Angeles area. The organization, which aims to alleviate extreme global poverty, promotes awareness, invites simple giving and supports sustainable relief. By inspiring people around the world to donate one day’s wages, ODW has raised over $600,000 in the past 1.5 years. The funds are donated to small organizations that are already fighting extreme poverty around the world.
One Day’s Wages and its founder, Eugene Cho, invite you to join them in Santa Monica, CA on Thursday, May 5, for a benefit featuring live music, complimentary appetizers and a brief message. There is no entrance fee, but donations are welcome. All funds will go directly to support ODW and its mission.
