Durian, balut, nattō—oh my! In his latest video for Buzzfeed, filmmaker Eugene Lee Yang has his colleagues taste various exotic Asian delicacies for the first time. Their reactions are, at times, eye-rollingly overdramatic (“OHHHH, IT’S F-CKING FLOPPY!” one says upon picking up a chicken foot) but also pretty amusing. When they try sannakji, Korea’s famed live octopus dish, one tester says the experience is “like you’re making out with someone and trying to eat at the same time” while another describes it as “eating a rubber band that is screaming for its life inside of you.”
