After Two Years off-stage, BTS Announces New in-person Tour

BTS are returning to the stage, live and in-person!

On Sept. 27, the record-smashing K-pop group announced BTS Permission to Dance On Stage: four nights of concerts at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif. on Nov. 27, Nov. 28, Dec. 1, and Dec. 2. This is the first time the group will perform an offline concert since their 2019 stadium tour, BTS World Tour Love Yourself: Speak Yourself. If you’re not on the West Coast, don’t fret, these in-person concerts are accompanied by a virtual event of the same name, which will livestream Oct. 24.

During their two-year tour hiatus, BTS continued to shatter records with their English-language singles “Dynamite,” “Butter” and their latest, “Permission to Dance,” all of which charted number one on the Billboard Hot 100. The group also maintained their presence in the U.S. media sphere virtually, performing on several late-night talk shows as well as attending awards ceremonies through video call during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to a press release, tickets for the general public will go on sale Oct. 9, while superfans can sign up for multiple presale options dropping Oct. 5, 6, and 8. The Oct. 5 and 6 presale will cater toward fans who purchased tickets for BTS’ canceled 2020 Map of the Soul Tour, while Oct. 8 is for fans who hold a Fanclub ARMY membership.
