Get your boxes and trash bags ready, because there’s about to be a whole lot of joy sparking on Netflix, where worldwide organizing sensation Marie Kondo will see her new series debut on Jan. 1, 2019.
“Tidying Up With Marie Kondo” will show Kondo guide those looking to clean up and transform their lives through eight episodes. That includes a recent widow who learns how to let go of her husband’s things, and a family of four downsizing from their Michigan home to a smaller Los Angeles apartment.
Kondo, a near-cultish tidiness icon whose philosophy involves decluttering through self-discovery, is the bestselling author behind “The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing.”
