And of course, will all the tangerine and tans, I must do the spring de rigeur orange lip. I like Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Collection’s lipgloss in Wild Coral (below, second from left). Not only is it a cinch to apply, but the sheer coral-orange is a real life version of the bright orange lips we saw all over spring runways. Super flattering on Asian skintones, you get all the wow factor of the classic red lip without any of the retro kitsch.
And while it’s still too early for bronzers, I like the dash of luminous pinky tan the collection’s Exotic Bronzing Blush imparts to my wan winter skin. Don’t be fooled by the name — it’s only a touch of inner glow color for even the palest of skintones. (And I love the zebra stripe design — so glamorous!)

Yes, color is important, but nothing really transports me to an island oasis like scent.
