Ever since Far East Movement hit the mainstream airwaves, people have been talking about how Asian Americans are on the cusp of making it – and one new Asian American group is boldly taking the challenge.
Aziatix, a new Asian American trio, recently released its first single, “Go,” featuring the rap stylings of Flowsik and the vocal talents of Eddie Shin and Nicky Lee.

Together, the three artists are managed by producer Jae Chong, former member and producer of top Korean R&B group, Solid.
Though the group is new, it consists of some experienced and talented musicians: Flowsik, a NY based underground rapper who most recently made headlines for his collaboration with K-pop boy band JYJ; Eddie Shin, a Boston-born, Seoul-raised singer who made his K-pop debut in 2005; and Los Angeles-based singer, Nicky Lee, who earned the title of “Best Male Singer” at the Mandarin Pop Music Awards in 2007.
We were lucky enough to hear the full song, “Go,” and we have to admit, it’s pretty impressive, especially for a debut single. You can watch the teaser clip below, or purchase the single on iTunes.
