We’ve been a bit quiet around here lately. KoreAm had a massive project to finish which has kept us from our regularly scheduled blogging. But we’re back. We missed you.
Let’s see what happened while we were away:
—”Glee” won a Golden Globe! Doesn’t Jenna Ushkowitz look radiant?
— National Asian American and Pacific Islander Week started. It’s a collaborative effort among national, state and local AAPI organizations and allies in the push for immigration reform. You in? Show your support by texting “AAPI” to 69866 today.
—North Korea will allow in more American tourists after years of heavy restrictions on visits. What are your thoughts?
—The January issue of KoreAm hit newsstands and mailboxes! In his cover story, MLB relief pitcher Chan Ho Park talks about everything from having swine flu at last year’s World Series to what it’s like raising two young daughters during baseball’s long-lasting season. Other can’t miss stories in the issue include The Kai-Lan Effect, a profile on reigning world figure skating champion Kim Yu-Na and Nic Cha Kim’s vision for a gallery row in Los Angeles. Check it all out.
