Body Of Missing Korean Canadian Woman Found

Vancouver police said that a body found on July 13 has been identified as Yoo Chung Choi, a Korean Canadian woman missing since mid-June, according to the Vancouver Observer.

The 38-year-old Choi went missing on June 17 following a late-night call to her relatives. The phone call left her family worried and when police found her empty car near the Lynn Canyon suspension bridge, a search was launched, according to North Shore News.

Police said at the time her phone call led them to believe “she might be actively looking to harm herself.” The body was found in Lynn Creek on Wednesday.

The Vancouver Observer reported that foul play is not suspected.
