Start saving up your daily allowance or summer job paycheck! H&M is about to open a whopping number of 375 stores in the US and China later this year, opening an average of one store per day! For those of you couch potatoes who would rather stay in the cool indoors, your in luck as well because H&M also has plans to expand their online stores, bringing their total number of e-stores to 13.
According to the New York Daily News last year, H&M gained so much popularity from young consumers that it put their teen retail competitors such as Abercrombie & Fitch, American Eagle behind. Despite this achievement however, H&M still has many other strong competitors in the market including major retailers such as Zara and GAP, that are both also in the works of adding more stores in China as well.

If you’re anything like me, that is, someone that can always come up with a reason (albeit, not always logical) to buy a new pair of shoes – well, get even more excited! In order to compete with their fellow rivals, H&M had to step it up, thus expanding expanding their shoe collection in nine different countries in both physical and online stores, including China, US, the UK and Sweden.
