Concert Benefit for Sewol Ferry Victims

Calvary Korean United Methodist Church in East Brunswick, New Jersey will be hold a benefit concert featuring the newly formed Veritas String Chamber Ensemble. The event will benefit the victims of the Sewol ferry accident in South Korea, which took place April of this year. The string chamber group, directed by Dr. Mira Kang, is made up of teenage musicians, many of whom attend pre-college divisions at Juilliard and Rutgers University, or have performed with the New Jersey All-State Orchestra. The concert will feature music from renowned composers Edvard Grieg and Samuel Barber, who had won the Pulitzer Prize for Music twice for his composing.

Admission is free of charge; however, donations to aid victims of the Sewol ferry accident will be gratefully accepted.
