Dancing on Top of the Empire State Building in Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ “Despair”

I now have something new on my bucket list: dancing on top of the Empire State Building. Thanks to Karen O and her whimsical dance sequence on top of the historical landmark, I now have a dream of doing the same exact thing. The video for the band’s latest single, “Despair” was released today. I love how the songs starts off pretty slow – and builds into something grand at the end – the sunrise over New York City. The band also teamed up again with director Patrick Daughters, who also directed the Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ “Maps”, “Turn Into”, “Date With the Night”, and “Gold Lion.”
