Daniel Wu and Ke Huy Quan to Reunite in ‘With Love’

Ke Huy Quan’s newest project has added “American Born Chinese” star Daniel Wu to its cast.

With an anticipated Feb. 7, 2025 release date, action movie “With Love” comes from Universal Pictures and 87North, the latter of which is behind popular action flicks such as “Nobody,” “The Fall Guy” and “Atomic Blonde.” The film is produced by Kelly McCormick and David Leitch, and written by Josh Stoddard, Luke Passmore and Matthew Murray. “With Love” will be stunt and fight coordinator Jonathan Eusebio’s feature directorial debut.

Hong-Kong American actor Wu is a veteran in the film space, having gained fame through “Gen-X Cops,” “Caught in Time” and “City of Glass,” as noted by Deadline. His directorial debut, “The Heavenly Kings,” resulted in a Best New Director Hong Kong Film Award, and AMC’s “Into the Badlands” was a series he both starred in and executive produced. His most recent project was “American Born Chinese” for Disney+, in which he played the Monkey King.

Wu joins not only Quan, but Oscar winner Ariana DeBose in the cast of “With Love.” Plot and character details are under wraps, but time will surely tell what exciting things are in store.
