‘Dr. Ken’ Son Albert Tsai Joins Coming CBS Sitcom As Series Regular

Fresh off saying goodbye to television audiences after the cancellation of “Dr. Ken,” Albert Tsai is back as a series regular on CBS’ coming sitcom “9JKL”!

Tsai, 12, portrayed Dr. Ken Park’s son Dave for two seasons, and appeared in the pilot for “9JKL” as a guest.

The new show is based on Mark Feuerstein’s real-life story of living in an apartment building between his parents and his brother’s family.

Tsai’s Ian, a film lover/latchkey kid who lives in the same building, is a “very smart, sophisticated, mature and outspoken” character.

Feuerstein, who is also executive producing, has also brought on a cast that includes Elliott Gould, Linda Lavin and Liza Lapira.

The show will air in the fall.
