Our favorite indie rok bands, Vidulgi OoyoO, Galaxy Express and Idiotape are really breaking away from Hongdae and making the rounds in America!
During their stay in States, the South Korean bands will join indie rock group Paper Doll for the Han Benefit Concert in New York City.
The event, which will take place on March 25th, will support Global Resource Services‘ micronutrient program for nursing mothers and infants in North Korea. GRS is asking people to “through music, treat Han (sorrow) through Han (unity).”
While tickets are $18 online and $25 at the door, Han is asking for donations as well. Stunted growth can rarely be corrected, but it can be prevented and a donation of just $5 can sponsor a nursing mother or infant with essential nutritional support for a full year.
Those of you who were dying to see the indie acts, but couldn’t score tickets to the Seoulsonic tour or Coachella, can now see them live, while simultaneously making a difference!
Han is generously giving away TWO tickets (one pair) to the benefit concert!
