For anyone missing the gorgeous face that graced our screens circa “Crazy Rich Asians” 2018, Mr. Henry Golding is back and better than ever. This time, he’s getting gritty with Guy Ritchie’s action spy film, “The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare.”
“The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare,” is billed as being inspired by true events, follows a ragtag group of on-the-fringe undercover agents who fight dirty and get the job done — that job being eliminating Nazis. The trailer showcases snippets of Special Ops violence, led by Major Gus March-Phillips (Henry Cavill), complete with grenade blasts, machine gun warfare (courtesy of Golding’s character) and bow-and-arrow assaults. Historically, this murderous group is credited with being the jumping-off point of modern black operations. Rounding out the cast are stars like Eiza González, Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Cary Elwes, and Alex Pettfyr.
When will this freedom fighter side of Golding grace the big screen? “The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare” plays only in theaters starting April 19, so be sure to mark your calendars and get ready to fight some Nazis!
