K-pop Playlist of the Week: The Boys Are Back

The boys of K-pop have been on a roll lately. Check out which new tracks we’re obsessed with and which one we just can’t stop looping.

“Where You At” – NU’EST W

“Produce 101” may have temporarily split up Nu’est, but the remaining members are stretching their reinvigorated fame with this dark ballad that pays homage to the group’s earlier jams while also bringing their music in a new direction.

“Rollin’” – B1A4

Several K-pop groups have tackled the tropical house trend these past few years, and it’s now B1A4’s turn. Jinyoung and CNU have crafted a lush, vibrant title track that blends the members’ vocals to create a warm, emotional soundscape.

“You Are” – GOT7

GOT7’s first comeback since the completion of their “Flight Log” series is an anthemic pop ballad with music and lyrics by leader JB, making the title track feel as much like a personal moment as a comeback song.

“Hellevator” – Stray Kids

K-pop survival shows have been popular lately, and JYP looks to be cashing in on the hype with Stray Kids, the cast of its upcoming survival reality show. “Hellevator” is rhythmic and angsty, perfect for a group of boys who’ll be fighting for the chance to debut.

“Ace” – Taemin

Taemin is one of K-pop’s standout solo acts, and we can’t wait for his upcoming comeback. In the meantime, however, we still can’t get over what a triumph his solo debut was. “Ace” is one of our favorites from that album.
