The original “Mr. Perfect,” who can sing, act, host, produce and more is returning as a singer for the first time in years after his successful career as an all-round entertainer.
Debuting in 2004 at the age of 17, Lee instantly became a star as his debut song “Because You Are My Woman” written by PSY topped charts and created a “liking older women” or “younger boyfriend” syndrome in South Korea. The song is still popular among guys as a love song for an older girlfriend even after two decades.
A little after his grand debut, Lee joined the most popular variety show at the time, “1 Night 2 Days”, as their youngest member. Known and beloved by his nickname heodang, his appearance on the show shot him to fame in Korea and made him a household name.
