Hollywood stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Emma Watson commemorated their visit to the U.N by taking photos with U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.

As the newly appointed U.N. Women Goodwill Ambassador, Emma Watson delivered quite a powerful speech on feminism and her HeForShe gender equality campaign at the U.N. headquarters Saturday. Pictured below is the photo of Watson and the Secretary-General Vogue shared on Instagram a few days after the summit.

“We should stop defining each other by what we are not and start defining ourselves by who we are. We can all be freer and this is what HeForShe is about. It’s about freedom,” Watson said in her emotional speech.

“I want men to take up this mantle so their daughters, sisters and mothers can be free from prejudice but also so their sons have permission to be vulnerable and human, too and in doing so, be a more true and complete version of themselves.”

Meanwhile, Leonardo DiCaprio spoke to the U.N. leaders yesterday about the importance of environmental health and the Leonardo Dicaprio Foundation, which has been striving to protect wildlife and to improve environmental conditions since 1998.

“As an actor, I pretend for a living. I play fictitious characters often solving fictitious problems. I believe humankind has looked at climate change in that same way,” DiCaprio said in his speech.

“My friends, this body — perhaps more than any other gathering in human history — now faces that difficult task. You can make history… or be vilified by it.”

DiCaprio took a photo with Ban after his speech and posted it on Facebook with the caption: “Today, I have the privilege to speak at the United Nations #Climate2014 Summit where world leaders are expected to announce the bold steps they will take to tackle climate change. Thank you Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.”

Earlier this month, Ban appointed DiCaprio as the U.N. Messenger of Peace to promote climate advocacy. According to The Huffington Post, the two also participated in the 400,000-strong People’s Climate March on Sunday.
