‘Moana 2’ Teases Another Adventure with Dwayne Johnson and Auli’i Cravalho

Get ready for another voyage in Oceania with our favorite seafaring adventurer, Moana. 

Today, Wednesday, May 26, the Walt Disney Animated Studios released the first teaser for the upcoming sequel “Moana 2.”  Set 3 years after the original film, the trailer hints at the exciting new journey that Moana (Auli’i Cravalho) is sent on when her wayfinding ancestors send her on a quest into the unknown waters of Oceania. She’s not alone, as a few familiar faces like Heihei and Pua tag along, and of course, the demigod Maui (Dwayne Johnson) returns to take part in this thrilling adventure.

The film is directed by David Derrick Jr. and Jason Hand, with Yvett Merino and Christina Chen as producers. The soundtrack will feature music by Grammy nominee Opetaia Foaʻi, Grammy winners Abigail Barow and Emily Bear and three-time Grammy winner Mark Mancina.
