A mob of motorcyclists dragged a driver out of his SUV and beat him to the ground in middle of a New York City street on Sunday, after the driver struck one of their fellow bikers.
Alexian Lien, 33, was driving his wife and a 2-year-old child on his first wedding anniversary when he was surrounded by a gang of cantankerous motorcyclists. He accidentally hit a biker who tried to cut him off, but when he initially stopped, the bikers started damaging his vehicle, prompting him to speed away for the safety of him and his family, the New York Daily News reported.
Lien struck at least three more motorcycles and broke a biker’s leg as tried to flee, according to the police. A six-minute video of the furious chase on YouTube shows the bikers going after Lien, who leaves the expressway and gets stuck in traffic in the Upper Manhattan neighborhood of Washington Heights. The video cuts off just as they start breaking the window of his SUV to pull him out.
The bikers dragged Lien from the vehicle and beat him and used a knife to slash his face and chest. Aphoto posted on Instagram shows Lien on the ground.
No arrests have been made but police said they are investigating the incident, the Daily News reported.
