Swimmer Nathan Adrian will be leaving the Rio Olympics with two bronze medals and two golds, after winning his last race on Saturday.
The Chinese American helped Michael Phelps, Cody Miller, and Ryan Murphy in the final stretch of the 4×100 meter medley relay, with his freestyle stroke. The team took the gold with a time of 3:27.95, inching out the U.K. and Australia by two seconds.

Adrian, who made his Olympic debut in Beijing for the 2008 Games, completed four events this year – all of which he has won medals in.
On the second day of the games, he helped the U.S. take gold as the anchor of the 4×100 meter freestyle relay, with Michael Phelps, Caeleb Dressel, and Ryan Held. The team beat France by a mere 0.6 seconds, with a time of 3:09.92.
In the men’s 50 meter freestyle he placed bronze with a time of 21.49 seconds, behind France’s Florent Manaudou who finished at 21.41 seconds. Team USA’s Anthony Ervin took the gold at 21.40 seconds.
Adrian also took bronze in the men’s 100m freestyle, losing to Australia’s Kyle Chalmers and Belgium’s Pieter Timmers.
Adrian now has eight Olympic medals in his collection, five of which are gold.
