Netflix recently premiered the Wachowski siblings’ sci-fi thriller series Sense8, which follows a group of Sensates, eight strangers from different parts of the world who suddenly become mentally and emotionally linked.
Korean actress Bae Doona (Cloud Atlas, Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance) stars as one of the eight main characters in the 12-episode series. She portrays Bak Sun, a rich Seoul businesswoman who moonlights as a kickboxing champion. When Bak gets caught up in an embezzlement scandal, thanks to her brother, she is forced to decide whether or not to sacrifice herself for the good of her family’s reputation.
As a Sensate, Bak can lend her viewpoint, experiences and skills to her telepathic companions. In the scene pictured below, Bak is shown lending her fighting abilities to Capheus, a fellow Sensate, when his bus in Nairobi gets raided by a gun-wielding gang.
But one Sense8 fan, identified by the username “guess_wh0_am_i,” decided to give the action-packed scene a fun twist by photoshopping baguettes into Bak’s hands.

Hey, hard baguettes can make wicked weapons. Apparently, Bae came across the photoshopped image on Instagram and found it humorous. She even shared the image on her personal account, thanking her fan for the bread.
