“Quantico” fans witnessed Alex Parrish in action one last time Friday before officially saying goodbye to the heroine of the ABC drama thriller.
Priyanka Chopra took to social media to express her appreciation for the “Quantico” cast, crew and viewers in honor of the show’s finale. In a heartfelt Instagram post, she stated that she will hold dear “memories of laughter, of learning new things, of making friends for life.” She also added that with her role, she hopes to have “cracked the door open for female talent and women of color to play leading ladies.”
As the season ends, I am saying goodbye to Alex Parrish. As you’ll see, her story will come full circle…and that is the best feeling as an actor. Bringing Alex to life has challenged me physically and emotionally, but even more significant it has (I hope) cracked the door open

Back in May, it was announced that “Quantico,” which aired three seasons over the span of three years, wouldn’t be continuing for a fourth season. The show followed the story of FBI agent Alex Parrish, portrayed by Chopra, who must clear her name after she is suspected of orchestrating a terrorist attack.
Chopra was the first South Asian to be the star of an American network drama series. The 36-year-old actress is currently one of India’s top celebrities, and her impact stretches far outside the bounds of the film industry. She has twice been named a national and global UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for child rights. In 2017, she was named by Time as one of the 100 Most Influential People in the world and by Forbes as one of the “World’s 100 Most Powerful Women.”
