College students, let’s take a moment of silence for all the ramen lost in the tragic North Carolina Ramen Spill.
According to ABC 7 News, a truck carrying a load of Maruchan Ramen noodles crashed on the I-95 highway after the driver nodded off at the wheel early Wednesday morning near Rocky Mount. The truck veered off the road and hit the Route 48 bridge, splitting the cargo space in half and spilling hundreds of noodle packages onto the pavement. Thankfully, no one was injured.

As for the spilled noodles, they were taken to a local landfill and disposed due to diesel fuel contamination.
