It seems everyone is having fun on Twitter this week, and Rep. Ted Lieu is no exception.
Lieu, who placed a comparison photo of the crowd size from the inaugurations of Presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump, has been taking jabs at the newly inaugurated president and his team via the social media platform.
“Dear Comrade Trump: Russia is happy with your #Bannon guy, who we call Dr. Evil,” Lieu tweeted Thursday, in a seeming response to the Trump strategist’s calling of the news media “the opposition party.” “We hate your media too. Vladimir.”
Earlier this week, Lieu tweeted a photo of his door, where a sign reads: “#AlternativeFacts Free Zone. Period.”
Lieu, a California Democrat and current assistant whip who was elected to his seat in 2014, was formerly a state senator and assemblyman. He represents Los Angeles County.
