Sonoya Mizuno will headlinine a new FX drama from Alex Garland. The actress will be leading an all-star cast alongside Nick Offerman in a tech thriller entitled “Devs.”
Mizuno will play Lily, a computer engineer who is deeply suspicious of her company’s CEO, Offerman’s Forest, and believes that he may hold the key to the disappearance of her boyfriend.
Garland has worked with Mizuno on several of his films, including the 2014 AI thriller “Ex Machina” and the Natalie Portman-starring sci-fi flick “Annihilation.” Mizuno can next be seen in the upcoming all-Asian rom-com “Crazy Rich Asians” and Cary Fukunaga’s Netflix black comedy series “Maniac.”
“Devs” will have a limited run of eight episodes and is set to premiere on FX in 2019.
