This season, don’t shy away from colors: wear them bright and bold! We can all use some color to brighten up our moods. I admit I’m guilty of doing the dark smoky eyes excessively and I don’t remember the last time my nails weren’t deep red, blue or purple. But since we’re seeing bright colors on models, on celebrities and on the streets, I think it’s time I give it a try, and you should too! Bright colored makeup can be used to contrast a monochromatic outfit or to complement a fun, flirty outfit with vivid hues.
Bright Eye Shadows
We know — this is not an easy look to pull off. But we’re not telling you to go all out with bright colored shadow applied from your lash line to your brow bone like they did on the runways. Just a pop of color will do! Also, consider putting aside your black and brown eyeliners. You should try to match your shadow and go with a more joyful shade. Personally, I would say go for blue or purple because they bring out the color of your eyes more.

Pastel Nails
It’s spring! You know, the season where the sun shines and flower blooms, so why aren’t your nails corresponding with the cheerful spirit of this season? Bright color nails convey youth and admit it, we all want to look young. It’s all about pink and orange this season, but really, it’s up to you!

Perfectly Painted Red/Coral Lips
Yes, red lips are sexy, but so are coral lips! I am not blessed with beautiful pearly whites. My teeth are probably stained from all the tea I drink, and red lipstick makes my teeth look even yellower (which is really unattractive). Coral, however, creates less of a contrast so it’s more suitable for me. As always though, remember to bring a hand-held mirror to check on your teeth every once in a while to make sure you don’t have lipstick on your teeth!
