‘The Boys’ to End with Season 5 on Amazon Prime Video

After the recent renewal of “The Boys” and ahead of its season four premiere, showrunner Eric Kripke announced that the Amazon Prime Video series will end with its fifth and final season.

“Season 5 will be the Final Season!” Kripke said in a tweet on X. “Always my plan, I just had to be cagey till I got the final OK from Vought. Thrilled to bring the story to a gory, epic, moist climax. Watch Season 4 in 2 DAYS, cause the end has begun!”

Released in 2019, The Emmy-winning drama takes place in a world run by a superhero mega corporation where a group of vigilantes set out to take down corrupt superheroes who abuse their powers. The R-rated Amazon Original stars Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara and Nathan Mitchell.

The beginning of the end for “The Boys” is near with the new season premiering this Thursday, June 13.
