Everyone’s favorite super-powered dysfunctional family is back for one last hurrah — Netflix just dropped the first teaser trailer for the final season of “The Umbrella Academy.”

And in true Hargreeves fashion, there seems to be plenty of time-traveling and reality-bending hijinks in store for this family, despite being stripped of their powers in the third season’s finale. While each member has become accustomed to their everyday life, the trailer hints that their new peace is at stake. The Umbrella Academy must unite to defend their new timeline when a new mysterious faction called “The Keepers” begins to gain power, and their father, Reginald, continues to gain influence with his new business empire expanding. But, of course, even with such high stakes in the final season, it wouldn’t be “The Umbrella Academy” without childish sibling shenanigans and the obligatory once-a-season dance sequence featured throughout the trailer.

This is the fourth and final installment of the Netflix adaptation of the Dark Horse Comics series by Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá. It stars Justin H. Min, Ritu Arya, Elliot Page, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Tom Hopper and Aidan Gallagher. Make sure to catch the final season’s premiere Aug. 8, 2024, and if you can’t handle waiting that long, watch the trailer below!
