On a site appropriately called “Dude Foods,” blogger and foodie Nick Chipman reveals the latest ramen-vention: the Ramen Noodle Grilled Cheese Sandwich.
Think crispy ramen “bread slices” hugging a bed of a hot, gooey cheese. It’s quite possibly better than the classic breaded version, claims Chipman, “because when the cheese melts it sort of fills in all the little nooks and crannies between the noodles.”
While Koreans have a nostalgic love of the traditional bowl of ramen bubbling in its pot with a cracked egg on top, wacky ramen renditions such as this one are equally enticing. Check out the detailed recipe here. All you need are ramen noodles, egg and your favorite type of cheese.
