USC Pacific Asia Museum Summer Internship

USC Pacific Asia Museum is offering an unpaid summer internship in the museum’s Education Department.  The ten week internship will take place between May 15 and August 31, 2014.  Graduate and undergraduate students are encouraged to apply.

Internship Goals
The Education Intern will be included in all aspects of the museum’s Education Department work, including the development and presentation of public programs, management of school/group tours, Docent and Volunteer program management, gallery interpretation, and community outreach and partnerships.  The Intern will gain experience in day-to-day operations as well as the development of new education initiatives.  The ideal candidate would have a demonstrated interest in museums and/or informal education, a professional attitude, basic computer competency, strong communication skills, ability to work independently, and team spirit.
