[VIDEO] 7 Must-Know Facts About Wong Fu’s Feature Film

by ETHEL NAVALES, Audrey Magazine

It’s an exciting time for us Wong Fu Productions fans! After years of crying and laughing over their heartfelt YouTube shorts, we finally have a Wong Fu Production feature film.

Everything Before Us takes a deep look into the challenges of two couples: high schoolers Seth (Brandon Soo Hoo) and Haley (Victoria Park), and Ben (Aaron Yoo) and Sara (Brittany Ishibashi) who are in their early thirties. But of course, there’s a twist. The movie takes place in the near future where all romantic relationships are overseen by the D.E.I., or the Department of Emotional Integrity.

According to the synopsis, “A ‘relationship score’ is given to keep people accountable for their romantic activity and choices. The score is public for all to see and affects various aspects of daily life.” Needless to say, the two couples face very different challenges under the watchful eye of their D.E.I. case worker (Randall Park).
