Here’s a duo we never knew we wanted so badly: Sung Kang and Danny Pudi will star in a new baseball buddy comedy pilot for YouTube Red.
“High & Tight,” which comes from an “Arrested Development” writer Chris Marrs, is set in the world of Major League Baseball in Los Angeles, according to Deadline.
Pudi will play an interpreter-turned-babysitter for Kang’s character, a misbehaving and party-crazy Korean outfielder who’s just signed to play for L.A.
Virginia Williams, Bruce McGill and Mircea Monroe have also joined the cast.
Pudi is best known for his cult-favorite character Abed in the NBC comedy “Community.” Kang, who is familiar to fans of the “Fast and Furious” franchise as Han, was last seen in the Starz series “Power.”
