Feast Your Eyes: Asian Male Models

Model hotness: Godfrey Gao.

Godfrey Gao

Godfrey Gao has his unique screen name and title of first Asian spokesperson for Louis Vuitton under his belt. The Taiwanese-Malaysian Canadian model was initially an actor, but just you wait and see which campaigns he will appear in next.

Paolo Roldan

Paolo Roldan‘s fame catapulted after his nude spread in Vogue Paris. More exposure for full exposure! He also appeared in the Givenchy Fall 2010 ad campain among the androgynous Lea T, and he closed the Givenchy runway show the very same year. The Filipino Canadian is represented by Boss New York.

Daniel Liu

Daniel Liu gives rise to the boy-next-door image, but after being signed onto Ford Models, the Taiwanese American has been featured in Target and Uniqlo campaigns. His cheekbones give him a very angular look, for which he could pass as Ai Tominaga’s brother.

Philip Huang

Philip Huang has a nose that everybody knows. The California-born Taiwanese American has been featured in Kenzo, Tommy Hilfiger, and Lord and Taylor campaigns. Even though he’s considered shorter than the average male model at 6 feet, he has walked for the likes of Dries van Noten, Valentino, and Gucci under DNA Models.

Brent Chua

Brent Chua is a spunky Filipino Chinese model, arguably one of the first Asian male supermodels. Represented by Ford Models, he has appeared in campaigns such as Benetton, Motorola, and Macy’s. He has walked for Versace, Issey Miyake, Yohji Yamamoto, Gucci, and Boss.
