TEN Brings Fans Together for a Dance Class at Rūts Dance Studio

Ahead of his first solo U.S. showcase tour, the TEN met with fans and shared the dance floor with them in Los Angeles, creating a moment of connection with fans and the AAPI community.

Before taking his solo show across 14 U.S. cities, TEN made time for something more intimate in Los Angeles: a dance class with fans! Character was invited to join the gathering at Rūts Dance Studio, where the K-pop idol promoted his upcoming showcase tour and got to share the dance floor with the community supporting his next chapter.

For an artist whose versatile performance style attracts a global audience, a dance studio offered a fitting place to meet fans beyond the concert stage. Rather than simply announcing the tour, TEN brought its spirit into the room, connecting with supporters through the art form that has helped define his career. The class gave fans an opportunity to celebrate the music and movement that brought them together.

TEN has spent years building his place in the K-pop industry and global music scene. After starting as a trainee under SM Entertainment, he debuted with NCT and went on to perform with WayV and SuperM. Across these projects, he has developed a distinct identity as a performer. Now, as he steps into his first solo U.S. showcase tour, he has an opportunity to bring that identity directly to audiences across the country.

The K-pop fandom often extends far beyond listening to music; it creates spaces where people find friendships, shared interests, and a sense of belonging. For AAPI fans in Los Angeles, welcoming a Thai artist who built his career within the Korean music industry offered another opportunity to celebrate Asian talent across cultures and borders.

That sense of connection felt especially fitting in a dance studio. Movement became a shared language between TEN and the fans in the room, bringing the artist’s craft closer to the people who have followed his journey.

As TEN prepares to bring his showcase to audiences across 14 cities from October 17 through November 10, this Los Angeles gathering offered a glimpse of what makes a tour more than a series of performances. The stages may introduce his solo work to new audiences, but moments like this reflect the relationships that help sustain an artist’s career.

At Rūts Dance Studio, TEN did more than promote an upcoming tour. He made room for fans to dance alongside him, and for a community to celebrate an artist whose journey resonates around the world.
