Chinese actor and pop star Kris Wu has just dropped his latest track, a hip-hop collaboration with Travis Scott called “Deserve.”
K-pop fans may recognize Kris from his days as a member of the ultra-popular K-pop group EXO, but since leaving the group, Kris has made quite an international name for himself.
After making his feature film debut in the Chinese romantic drama “Somewhere Only We Know,” he went on to to star in “xXx: Return of Xander Cage” alongside Vin Diesel and even produced a song for the film. American audiences last saw him in a supporting role in “Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets,” and he became one of Burberry’s global ambassadors in 2016.
Wu got in touch with Travis Scott through a mutual connection that Kris met during a summer sound camp. Wu tossed the collaboration idea to Scott, who was in New York at the time, and the American rapper immediately welcomed the opportunity.
