Karen Fukuhara, whom we last saw as Katana in DC’s “Suicide Squad,” continues her comic book streak with a series regular role in Amazon’s upcoming superhero drama “The Boys.”
According to Deadline, the straight-to-series drama will be based on the comic book by Garth Ennis and centers on the eponymous group of vigilantes who have a mission to bring down corrupt superheroes who use their fame for personal gain.
Fukuhara, a Los Angeles native who made her film debut in “Suicide Squad” alongside top-dollar stars such as Will Smith and Margot Robbie, is set to portray a mysterious assassin named Female in “The Boys.”
The series will also star Erin Moriarty, Antony Starr, Dominique McElligott, Chace Crawford and Jesse T. Usher.
