Pizza made out of ramen noodles has gone viral in South Korea after a step-by-step recipe was posted by a blogger.
The Chosun Ilbo reported that the dish, which won a local cooking competition in New York, is making its way across various food blogs in Korea.
Photos posted on a number of sites show mozzarella cheese on top of steamed and stir-fried ramen noodles, along with various toppings.
Ramen pizza was also featured in the Korean edition of Men’s Health last October.
The dish was reportedly invented by Asian American Karol Lu for the Ramen-Off contest in Brooklyn, N.Y., in 2008. Check out the recipe here.
