The new single from BTS and Coldplay is out of this world.
On Sept. 24, the K-pop superstars and the British rock band finally dropped their long-awaited collaboration, titled “My Universe.” The track is a bouncy, upbeat pop jam with lyrics in both English and Korean, perfect for car ride sing-alongs. There’s no music video yet, but on Sept. 26 fans can go behind the scenes of the single’s creation with a documentary called “Inside My Universe.”
Speaking on his experiences working with BTS, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin said in an interview for Apple Music 1, “I love them, and we love them, and it’s been such a joy. I unabashedly and unashamedly feel really grateful for the song, grateful for the person that inspired the song and grateful for the people we sing it with.”
The single features on Coldplay’s forthcoming ninth studio album “Music of the Spheres,” which is set to release on Oct. 15. Until then, listen to “My Universe” here and keep an eye out for that documentary!
