The trot fever that shook up the entire county is coming to Southern California this November. Na Tae Joo from Mr. Trot and the trot prince Shin Yu will perform live on Saturday, November 12 (2 pm & 7 pm) at Pechanga Resort Casino.
Na Tae Joo, an all-round entertainer whose career included Tae Kwon Do player and actor, appeared on the most popular audition show then ‘Mr. Trot’ in 2020 and immediately captured the hearts of viewers with his spectacular Tae Kwon Do performance and powerful voice. He gained the nickname “Tae Kwon Trot Man” through the show. The songs he covered on the show (“Unconditionally,” “You Are My Man,” and “The Man in Sinsa-dong”) took the internet by storm.
Shin Yu, often called the prince of trot, boasts a fandom as big as that of idols. His charm coupled with his mellow voice and handsome look attracts fans and you can see a wave of pink balloons from his fans at any of his performances. Yu has many hits including “Hands of Clock,” “Flower Extract,” “Bad Guy,” and “Sleeping Princess.”
