“We have no problem killing your son.”
Netflix’s “The Brothers Sun” official trailer released today, and it immediately kicks off guns blazing. After the mysterious assassination of a Taipei triad leader, inter-gang conflict arises, thrusting Eileen (Michelle Yeoh) and her son, Bruce (Sam Song Li), in the center of the chaos. Bruce soon finds out that his family is deeply entrenched in the Jade Dragons gang, with his older brother Charles “Chairleg” Sun being a crime boss of the syndicate. Charles returns to Los Angeles to secure his family’s safety and teach Bruce a thing or two about fighting. With their lives on the line, the Sun brothers are forced to work together and bond. Meanwhile, Eileen is doing some preparations of her own. We’re already anticipating the badass, action-packed Michelle Yeoh fight sequences to be the highlight of the series.
