Editorial Interns for KoreAm Journal and charactermedia.com
The Role:
KoreAm Journal is seeking fall editorial interns who want to gain experience working for an award-winning publication that covers and analyzes the news, culture, people and issues of Korean America. The intern will work out of our office with a minimum commitment of 16 hours per week. Applicants should be self-motivated go-getters, with a strong sense of initiative, curiosity and appreciation for the written word.
Qualifications:
– A college student or recent graduate with strong writing skills. Journalism experience (such as previous work for a campus newspaper, internship) is preferred.
– Knowledge of Korean American / Asian American issues and pop culture is preferred.
– Experience with WordPress, HTML and social media is preferred, but not required.
