Imagine this same picture, only with Asian people
Another Craigslist ad seeking Asian American actors? There has to be a more legitimate way to get the word out there, but apparently a new CW show called “Jaded,” is searching for “fresh-faced Asian actors” to play “hip Asian characters” making it in NYC. Just to make it clear that it’ll be about Asian Americans, it’s being set in Japantown/Koreatown/Chinatown.
The ad also clearly emphasizes the need for potentials to speak fluent English (understandable) with an American Dialect with No Accents.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think there’s such a thing as a strictly “American dialect.” But maybe they want you to come in with a Southern twang?
