It’s official! BBC America’s “Killing Eve” is coming back for a second season on April 7.
Last season, we were introduced to Eve (Sandra Oh), an MI6 operative who begins a cat-and-mouse chase with sociopathic serial killer Villanelle (played by Jodie Comer). In the season finale, we were left with a cliffhanger after Eve stabbed Villanelle.
“Eve is left reeling, having no idea if the woman she stabbed is alive or dead,” the synopsis for the second season says. “With both of them in deep trouble, Eve has to find Villanelle before someone else does…but unfortunately, she’s not the only person looking for her.”
The series garnered critical acclaim upon its debut last year, and has seen Oh nominated for several honors — including from the Golden Globes, the Emmys, the Critics’ Choice Awards and the SAG Awards — for her role.
