Check Out the Trailer to ‘Twinsters’

By now, you’ve probably heard the incredible tale of Samantha Futerman and Anaïs Bordier– twin sisters who only learned about each other’s existence through YouTube and Facebook.

In February 2013, Anaïs, a French fashion design student living in London, got her first glimpse of Samantha through a YouTube video which featured the aspiring American actress. Shocked by their similar appearances, Anaïs couldn’t help but looking into Samantha’s background and finally sent her a Facebook message saying they had the same birthday and were both South Korean adoptees.

“I knew that I had biological family,”Anaïs told us a few months ago. “And I had a feeling that there was more to it. However, I never thought it would be a twin!”

After confirming that they were twins, the two decided it was important to share their inspiring story to the world. In 2014, they released the book Separated @ Birth: A True Love Story of Twin Sisters Reunited.

But it gets even better. The two created a Kickstater campaign to fund Twinsters, a documentary that would show Samantha and Anaïs meeting in person for the very first time. It seems we all wanted to know the story behind this reconnection because the campaign was a huge success.

Twinsters will hold its world premiere March 15 at South by Southwest. In the meantime, you can check out the trailer below:
