We talk to Everly’s designers – the sisterly duo Adriana and Fabiana – about the line’s latest collection. Read on to find out their inspiration and what’re digging for spring!
1. What inspired you for this season’s collection?
F: This season’s collection was really inspired by the 60’s. I was really drawn to the effortless shift dresses and bold clean prints that was worn during that time. All of our seasons are mainly inspired by girls. For spring we were inspired by feminine girly girls and for summer we wanted to portray a fun girl who’s not afraid to be herself.
2. What’s your favorite item(s) from this collection?
F: My favorite item is definitely our printed geometric 2 piece from our summer collection.
3. What would you pair it with and where would you wear it out?
F: I would pair it with my strappy leather sandals that I bought in a flea market in London and would wear a light white jacket on top to give it an edge.
4. To you – who is the ‘Everly Girl’?
A: The Everly girl is a fearless and free spirited girl who is open to adding new pieces to her wardrobe. She loves comfort and loves to buy dresses where she can dress up or down and wear it in many different occasions. She’s not afraid of new trends, but chooses carefully which ones she wants to follow. She is a lover of all things pretty and really appreciates the beauty in the little things in life.
5. What are some of spring trends from the runway that you are incorporating into your own wardrobe this season?
F: I’m pretty obsessed with bold colors and the shift dress silhouette.
A: I am loving all things black and white and anything with a peplum this season. We have this adorable peplum textured top from our spring collection that I wear all the time.
