First Look At ‘Abominable’ Provides Plenty Of Warm And Fuzzies

It might be warming up in Southern California, but come September we’ll be watching an adventure taking place on the chilly slopes of the Himalayas.

The first trailer for DreamWorks’ “Abominable” has arrived. The animated adventure stars Chloe Bennet (“Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”) as Yi, a teenage girl dreaming of freedom from her overbearing family, who discovers a furry young yeti on the roof of her Shanghai apartment building. To return him to his family on Mount Everest, Yi teams up with Jin (Tenzing Norgay Trainor) and Peng (Albert Tsai), and the group embarks on a legendary journey filled with magical violin solos and thrilling cloud chases. Along the way to the highest point on Earth, they have to fend off the yeti-obsessed Burnish (Eddie Izzard) and zoologist Dr. Zara (Sarah Paulson). The film’s breathtaking animation and action is sure to keep audiences on the edge of their seats. “Abominable” hits theaters September 27.
