HBO is calling for short films from Asian American and Pacific Islander filmmakers for its third APA Visionaries competition, the network announced on Wednesday.
The theme for this year’s short film competition is the modern Asian Pacific American experience. After evaluations by a panel consisting of HBO executives, industry leaders and APA filmmakers, top three winners will be selected for cash awards and an opportunity to premiere their works on HBO during Asian Pacific American Heritage Month in May 2019.
